Joy Division - Paris (upgrade) - flac
This cool blog has an upgraded version of JD's Paris concert in December 1979.
It is taken from a variety of sources: some of the sound is really decent; other songs pretty reasonable.
This is definitely a big improvement on the bootleg audience concert version.
And anyone who takes the trouble to clean up an old Joy Division concert deserves a medal!

New Order - Melbourne - 27 Nov 1982 - 580mb
28 mins of New Order playing the following songs:
1. Ceremony
2. Ultraviolence
3. Chosen Time
4. Dreams Never End
5. Truth
Video quality tending strongly towards crappy, but it's hard not to like the songs played.

Joy Division - Futurama Leeds - 8 Sep 1979 - flac

New Order - Scandinavia Outtakes - 1981 - flac
Vast 220mb file containing only three tracks. Worth it?
Track one is the soundcheck from Stockholm; track three from Gothenburg.
But track two........
In full 14-minute-plus length and brilliant quality, this is Everything's Gone Green in "Everything's Gone Mad" maxi-maxi-format.
Pulsating, infectious synth; Morris's relentless drumming; and then comes Peter Hook's chainsaw bass.
Great stuff, in the tradition of Joy Division's gem-jam, Girl's Don't Count, at Malvern.
Simply a must!!
Parts: one, two (220mb)

Rapidshare vs the others
At this site there is an ongoing discussion about Rapidshare.
And here is another posting from a little while back.
More interesting are the opinions of the visitors on whether they prefer using Rapidshare or other sites, above all Megaupload.
Do visitors here have any opinions? The Rapidshare account comes up for renewal at the start of next year: I would not especially rush to change, but if people feel Megaupload is a lot better and user-friendly, it would not kill me to transfer all the files to an account there.
So feel free to leave any comments!

New Order - Paris - 13 May 1981 - flac
Overlooked concert from the early days of the Order.
Funny what you find buried in the depths of the "disque dur"
The first is a never-heard-before instrumental. Rather cool, really...
Sadly, the second track is missing.
Then follows Doubts Even Here, listening to it right now for the first time. Hmmmmmmmm...
After that comes Truth, another unpolished gem.
In a Lonely Place concludes, another chunk of diamond...
An early New Order concert, and in pretty reasonable quality to boot: kind of irresistable!
No pictures found anywhere, regrettably;-(
Ah well, as it was close to a year since the demise of "His Royal Greatness", here is a piccy which caught my attention quite sharply while doing one of the postings for the Blog:
