I'm pretty much impressed of all of this Peter Hook Goes Joy Division thing!
This Peter-Goes-All-Joy-A-Vision thingy isn't half as bad as I feared it to be knowing his past vocal endeavours. To my ears his Ian impersonation is as near as one can get to a real thing. Very credible indeed. I'd like to hear Peter this way on his o-w-n future work.
Karaoke? Might be. I don't give a damn. The best Ian Curtis/Joy Division karaoke I've ever heard and quite possibly ever will!
It doesn't even matter that much to me Peter doesn't play that much bass, because this isn't New Order where his melodic bass playing input was really significant for the overall New Order song structure/sound.
