"["Boy, I don't really recall the song list, but I think I would remember an acoustic version of 'Anarchy In The UK'. They did sound great, but I seem to recall the show ending during 'Shellshock', when their sequencer became stuck, they all walked offstage except for Peter Hook, and he jammed for a couple more minutes before walking offstage." Actually New Order opened for Echo & the Bunnymen, not the other way around - I know because I had to skip out on the last half of the Bunnymen set in order to drive the 9 hours back to Lincoln, NE to take my first chemistry exam my Freshmen year in college at 8:30 in the a.m.
Ahhhh college.
As for the show, it was rainy/drizzly which may have contributed to their technical difficulties with the sequencers.
As you so often do, you have made my day with this post.
